let go of your preconceived notions with yogijen poketto!

Whenever you want to set up an apartment you often encounter a major problem: a lack of space. Very soon you find you’re left with cluttered rooms that are really impractical.

But you’re sure to be blown away by this studio: its architects have made full use of the 33m² to create a space that is functionalintimate and bright. The place is stacked with discrete storage space. The apartment is laid out in an L-shape, with an entrance hall giving onto a spacious living room equipped with an open kitchen that leads to the bedroom and on to the bathroom.

raised flooring: a way of partitioning

Opening up into another area in order to partition a space might seem paradoxical but the system actually works really effectively. Here the stairs separate the living room and kitchen from the bedroom and bathroom. With the main living area opening out onto windows with balconies, the whole atmosphere is really bright.

Raised flooring is also a clever way of defining the different areas of the apartment, creating intimacy and shielding the view of the kitchen.

clever and discrete features

The added extra of this apartment, apart from its two levels, is that the height means some very special features can be integrated: a shower that can also be used as a bath, sunk into the floor, storage beneath the bed...This is in addition to the secret trap doors that optimise storage space and the many wardrobes that provide a practical element and allow residents to find things easily without creating a « cluttered » feel.

The room is even equipped with a video-projector on the ceiling, which can be used without getting out of bed. The entrance hall and the bathroom have a mirrored finish in order to fill the space with lots of light.

modular spaces for greater freedom

The stairs that lead up to the bedroom can be moved to reveal additional storage hidden behind them, but can also be used as tiered seating when left in place.

It’s also possible to remove a section of the kitchen worktop to reveal a table. Practical, wouldn’t you say? We’ll let you decide for yourselves with a POKETTO YOJIGEN (or « pocket 4D ») presentation video!

a little nomad touch...

Furniture that can be easily moved, hidden storage... Does that remind you of something? We think this is like the NOMAD room, where freedom is a priority!
